While I was on my mission, I made a deal with one of my companions that we would go to Disneyland together the summer after I got back (we only made this deal because we knew it would all be for free. Some guy in his ward can get it all for free). So they call me up when I get home and pick a coming weekend. A couple days before, they inform me that they both had invited a girl and that I should do the same thing! I was like, "Uhh, heck no!" and immediately thought of Lando (with whom I had been hanging out with 24/7 for the last week and a half). I asked mom and dad the night before, and they, being the most loving and happiness seeking gatherers for their children, desperately wanted to make it happen. They had to pay for a few things but dropped the money like a live spider in my sister's hand! teasin! We told Lando, and the next morning, we took off!

Hello my dearest friends, collegaues and family, I was wishing to wrtie briefly to say that I'M BACK! Whoo! I'm back baby!

After roughly two years of not writing on this beautiful blog of mine, I feel the duty to pick it up once again. I will be writing a couple times a week and trying my hardest to post pics and videos of what I am currently up to. I know that everyone wants to know what I am doing and everyone wants to be updated on my life, so, why not please the fans! TEASIN!

I recently returned from my two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was absolutely the best experience of my life! Many people look upon the tiny, "armpit of the nation" state of New Jersey in a disgusting and loathing manner. When one thinks of the armpit, one cannot help but think of the nasty hairs and odor. Now, if you visit New Jersey, you will experience the same thing. Really, theres no difference. But to me New Jersey is something different. I loved being a missionary there! There are so many reasons to love New Jersey. One is that it is absolutley full of people! One of my areas was estimated to have one million people! Another area is the most dense population in the Nation! I loved chasing people down and talking to as many as I could. That state is for me! Also, the Area is so diverse! I went to NJ thinking,..."spanish? what the heck! In NJ?" Upon arriving, I saw that the rich cultural of all the Central and South American countries are represented, as well as all of Africa, Europe and Asia! It was so bomb to learn about all the differnt cultures.

Mission

So Denae wanted me to blog one last time before i headed off into the MTC. I have been set apart but dad said it was okay

So today was basically amazing! A few members of my family bore their testimonies during sac meeting and the spirit was hecka strong. Then the Stake President said some really cool things before and during and after my blessing. It was really nice to have a lot of my family there and thanks for coming everyone.

For the next couple days i will visit chad and julie and angie and pete before i head in. I have always looked forward to becoming a missionary and it is kinda crazy to think it is already here. My family members have been the greatest examples and i love you all. It is a great calling and am thankful for my oppurtunity to serve. I cant wait to share this awesome message and will have the best 2 years ever. I'll look forward to letters and whatever you want to send :) .... I love you all and peace out!

My Birthday!

Well, it was my first birthday away from the family. It was interesting....teasin! it wasnt as bad as i thought and i practiced for my mission. I woke up and texted sis because she was born on my b-day, for those of you who forogt. Teasin sis! Umm i talked to mom and dad and the rest of the family throughout the day. Thanks for the calls everyone. I went to a basketball game and we won. Then i went out to dinner with a bunch of friends and ate hecka food. Afterwards we came back and opened presents from Max. Max gave me a journal his mom gave him....that was special and i needed one so im thankful for it.
Max and I opened the rest of my presents. The Abillas gave me some nice notes and hecka food which is gettin me fat. haha thanks! O and thanks Ang for the Head and Shoulder bottle. You'll be gettin it back sometime haha! And then I opened the fam in Cali's package. I got a sweet shirt that had my Mission on the back. Kaley gave me the hymn book in Spanish, its pocket sized. And then a CD and hecka more food. Grandma also sent a letter. Shes awesome! And that was my b-day! This might be boring sorry!

Missionary Part

Hey Fam! What do ya think?! haha. These two pictures is what my hair is going to look like in a ouple months. Haha. My hair is long and i am getting it cut this week but this is my long hair with a part. I went over to Lizzie's and she styled my hair for like an hour. We did all different styles of hair and it was tons of fun. We finished with this part, which reminds me of my good 'ol Banroft days, and i kept it for the next day. Fun stuff! I get my call in 5 days!

The Favorite

Well i probably shouldnt be telling the family this because Mom didnt want me to. But i am going to anyway. I got a package in the mail the other day and it was from Mom. I opened it surprised to find this beautiful, expensive multi-colored coat laying there in the bottom of the box. I pulled it out, tried it on and I looked handsome, I looked smart, and relaized that I am a walking work of art. That night I had a pretty interesting dream where my family (all of you guys) and I were in a corn field. You guys were all mad at me because my corn was soo much bigger than all of yours. I dont know what this means. I dont know how many of you are familiar with the Jospeh and the Mulit-colored dreamcoat but i think Mom is trying to say something to the rest of the family. Teasin for hecka squezzins!! I'm kidding about everything. Mom hasnt sent a package yet (haha teasin mom!) but this is a pretty sweet jacket. It was 90% off at the bookstore. I got it for 5$. Pretty cool huh? Max and Stephen also got one and we matched today...it was cute...

Fun at the Dorms

Hey family! Well i was talking to mom on the phone earlier today and i told her how a couple nights ago, max found a really cool picture of a spartan. We decided to tattoo it on his arm, which i did, and it turned out really good. I'm quite the artists and am possibly thinking of going into that field of work. Then i mentioned to mom what i did for Danny Adamson last semester. He has a pretty hairy chest and wanted me to shave a superman symbol into it. I did a great job and here are the pics. Hey

Well im going to start posting again because my life is aweseom and everyone should know about it! haha. Also i can now do pictures so it wont be as boring because there is something to look at now. This blog is about the freezingness of Idaho. I was in utah for wisdom teeth and mom and everyone else kept complaining at how freezing it was at 20 degrees. Well today it was -2 and last week it got to -20. So stop complainging. haha. This is me before i headed out to classes this morning. I am not a terrorist...its just an awesome hood thing i got for christmas. And the boots look cool too. But max and i run around with the boots and the masks loking funny and acting retarted. Its great. Well be greatful for your weather! cause it's dang cold here...

O and i went ice skating last night and it was -9. Kinda cold but not that bad...haha

quick summary

Hey everyone. well i took my bio and American Heritgae class. I got a 90% on my american test but it should haveb een higher. i changed two answers at the end which i got wrong. then i got a 81% on my bio test which was actually really good. i guess everyone basically failed so i was happy. On sunday i tauight the Eldeers Quorum on President Monson's priesthood talk last april in GC. Also i got another calling. Early sunday morning some guy wanted to talk to me and he called me to be the Elders Quorum Teacher. so i'll be doing that now with 2 or 3 other guys. Umm this week has been boring. Mostly schoolwork and hanging out. I've watced two of the Indiana Jones with some girls but nothin much is happenin. i found a ride down to Utah for this GC weekend so ill see everyone in Utah and im excited. But ya thats it.....just going to classes. went to BOM today and its basically the coolest....have a great day! adios and sorry this is kinda boring....

another update

i dont have any pictures so i personally think that blogs without pictures are annoying so hecka sorry to begin with. I'll start off with last friday cause thats where i ended. Friday night i went to Gridiron Gang with danny, two other guys and a girl. it was cool. Saturday i played ball forever and then went to this guy named Mark Jackman's place where we hung out with him and a bunch of girls. Sunday was cool. Church, fireside and chillin. I've been playing a lot of God Blessed the Broken Road on piano and am trying to get good at that. Monday i had classes. I have an american heritage test and a bio test this week so i've beent trying to study for those a lot. I had my bio lab with my partners who are basically hecka annoying but im trying to have a better attitude about it. Then on monday we had FHE and after played basketball for 2 hours. It was cool cause once i got on, i didnt lose. My team won like 15 or so straight. it was cool. Tuesday i had BOM which is sweet and a flag football game again. The QB finally noticed how awesome i am (TEASIN!!!) and passed more me. i didnt drop any and caught 10 or so. I had 3 touchdowns which was fun adn should've had a fourth but stopped running cause i thought my flag was off. It was fun cause i a lot fo the time would take off and i was faster than the defenders so he'd bomb the ball and i'd always catch it. we lost tho....boun boun boun(debbie downer noise...?). Today i jsut got out of classes and am chillin in the library getting ready for my tests and writing hecka english and BOM papers. Liam has been home all day cause me and him got sick. we're trying to get over it but it super annoying. Thats my life! o and i ran into Tiann today for a couple minutes. she cool. ummm....thats it! i check my mail everyday to see a blank box boun boun boun (debbie downer!) teasin! i like to try to make people send me stuff but please dont....i just like to tease. but ya....thins are great! sorry this is boring but i spelled my words write....(teasin i meant right!) k later

Guess what!?!

Teasin theres nothin to guess. Alright well im gonna blog on this site instead of blodgettbuzz cause i dont want to take up hecka space. I'll sum up this last week. On sunday the bishop was calling people to stand and recieve callings. So i thought that they all got called to accept the calling (which they did) and then the Bishop calls ..."Bro Dustin....Booget?" and i stood up and was like..."Blodgett?' and then he contionued calling me and i had no idea so it was kinda nervous but i got called to be the FHE Cooridnator. ya so good story. Umm Monday night max and i were having a dance party in teh dorms....we do it a lot...and then he put on a batman suit and i put on hecka under armour, glasses, crazy hat, and orange short shorts and we decided to run around and dance around campus. We got my iPod speakers and satrted dancing all over the place. It was sweet. We started at the girls dorms and then made our way to the Hart PE building. But on our way we had like 50 people stop and dance with us. it was cool. we went thru the building but ended up getting chased out by some guy. We danced around for like and hour and a half. good times. Umm last night we had our first flag football game. I had 2 interceptions but accidentally dropped 2 passes. but we lost by a touchdown bu it was fun. umm BOM class is super cool. ummm my black eye is still here and hasnt gone down at all. ummm feel free to send me anything....thats it for now....bye fam!

Mission Impossible Date

So last Monday i was chillin at our nice house in the Dub-C (Walnut Creek) when all of the sudden the door bell rang. Kaley answered and came and got me. I approached the door not knowing who to suspect. There at the door was a fairly tall an i have never seen before dressed in a suit with glasses, gelled hair, and a earpiece. His car had Mission Impossible music blaring in the background. He looked hecka cool and like a secret agent. He asked if i was Agent Blodgett and handed me a manilla envelope that had Top Secret written on it. He left and inside the envelope was a DVD. i watched it with the fam cause they were all excited. It told me where to meet and what time and told me my team had already been assembled and had dark shots of three girls. I showed up to the meeting location that friday and immediately a random guy gave us 3 boys a clue. We figured it out and went to the next location within the shopping center. this continued for 10 clues which had us do stupid things and do fun stuff. The last clue took us to Papa Murphy's and there we had to guess the three girl's names correctly.We did and then we got the pizza and went outside and the 3 girls jumped out of a car. We then went to one of their houses, had pizza, and watched Mission Impossible. It was a really fun triple date and i thought i'd blog about it. later! and i'll be blogging a lot cause i'm goin to college and its a fat party up there. adios!

Hey!

Well, angie emailed me and told me to blog cause she always checks it and it's always the boring same blog from months ago. So she begged me to blog and here i am about to tell you some stories about my previous week. Last tuesday night i went with my mutual group, and my sis, to this guys house that lives kinda by brentwood. He has a little waterslide built against his hill. It was pretty cool. We would race down after blocking the water. i had the fastest time of 25 seconds. Wednesday nighti went to jeff chapman's house cause he had a little party. we ate, swam and hot tubbed. Thursday night went to the priest/laurel activity. we just talked and then on friday i went to six flags marine world with a bunch (8) of the CV kids. Tickets were only 15 bucks just cause we tight or maybe cause i'm the King...not really sure. They must've known i was coming cause they were trumpets blowing too as i walked up to the front gate. kinda freaky. Umm i havnt been able to play golf in a really long time and have played bball a couple times last week. I am officially done with the babysitting job. She gave me a 900 dollar check on thursday and the kids got me some pin pong paddles and balls as a present. I put the money in the atm and wanted mom to take pictures but she didnt. This week is my last full week in the WC. I leave next thursday for the party school. Have a great day and i'll be doing these more often!...later dustin!

Senior Fashion Show

Hey! Umm this last week our school had the senior fashion show. I was able to be a model (obviously) and stretted my hot body down the runway bouncing with the beat of the screaming girls voices. I fashioned four stores. Charlotte Rousse, which is a girls store but they wanted 2 guys to be "drug dealers to go along woth their skits. I also modeled 20/20 which is totally ghetto and i looked gangsta. Buckle and Mainland were my other two..nothing special. Mom, dad, kaley, landon, and Denae came and watched me. I also pointed and interacted wid dem.
Angie wanted me to blog about BYU-I. I am super excited but kinda bummed at the same time. I got into Fall/Winter and Liam, gto into Summer/ Fall so i'll be rooming with him in the fall. Max didnt get in, which stinks major, but is appealing the decision and hopefully it'll work. He's a good friend and woudl be tons of fun to party with. I'll be visiting Utah a lot, i think, so be ready for the Highness and i'll take the master bedrooms...thanks...bye

I'm Back!!!

hey everybody. I've decided to blog since you all want to here about my life...teasin, but ya. Heres a sum up. Uhh i've had crazy practices for dance production because all of the dances were due yersterday. I just finished senior fashion show last night. We got to get free clothes for a couple weeks and show them off at a three night performance. It was cool. Umm, school's kinda a joke. I dont know if it was for your senior years but i onyl have one real class and that's dance production. I have econ but we never do qnything adn same with zoo, english with mr boerner, and mads. Speaking of mads i leave for disneyland at the end of this month, cant' wait. Ohh and i havn't really done anything with my senior project which i will change this week cause i gotta get going. well takl to ya later!

Sweet!

Hey sorry this has taken so long. I tried blogging last week but after i wrote a fat page, the computer crashed or something. This last monday i went to tahoe with max and skiied for the first time in a little while. I dont have any pictures but it was awesome to be back on the mountain again. It just dumped tons of snow but it was a perfect day and loads of fun. Other than that, i've started working on my senior project. My project is to lower my golf score by five strokes. Hecka cool project, huh? I'm excited to get serious into golfing and hopefull it'll be successful. Uhhhh...nothing else...last tuesday for mutual we had a pingpong toournament and i tore it up...school's cool and i'll keep up the bloggage!

My Week

Well in my last blog i said i'd tell about the basketball game. We played CVIII and were missing three of our starters and didnt play that good of a game. CVIII is also really good this year with 5 good players. It was intense and upbeat and we ended up winning by only 1 point. It was crazy..32-31..i finished with 17 points. The bad news is that i fell on my wrist during the game and it hasnt stopped hurting all this week. Mom wanted me to see a doctor but i dont think the doctor could do anything because i think it is a ligament or tendon or something. So i basically cant use my hand that much and i'm kinda bummed because i wanted to play good basketball over break with the bwudduhs. I'll still play and wont use it as an excuse but i havnt played in a week and it hurts to shoot btu we'll see what happens. Other than that, i've gone to school and have had a concert for madrigals. The concert was cool. Can't wait for the family to come! Party!...sorry no picture

Wednesday

Well mock congress started and for those who dont know what it is, it's a simulation of congress where we dress up and debate bills that become laws. So living in California our little senate of 90, 70 were democrat and 20 were republican. It was way cool though because on the first ten bills (or all day wednesday) the republicans (me) only lost one bill and had every other bill go our direction and the way we wanted it so we owned everyone. I was excited. Then for mutual we went ice skating at the new ice rink in Walnut Creek. It was fun doing backflips and triple axles...teasin. But it was fun weaving in and out of people going pretty fast. So thats my blog...i just got back from a church bball game which i will blog about later. Adios! p.s. Shadow!

My Weekend

How's it going? Well i had a great weekend loaded with amazing adventures...teasin!. On Saturday morning i had the privilege of helping Denae and Dave dig a fat hole for their ground trampoline. The mexicans and Dave dug a lot out the week before but we started digging in hecka mud. We spent the day digging a very nice hole and fitting the trampoline into it. There were a couple problems with the fitting but we worled it out. Then we took all of the dirt/mud to the dump twenty minutes away where it took us an hour to undig the already dug dirt. There was so much dirt butit was tight. We finsihed and i can't wait until i get to jump on it! Also this week i have been working on my applications for BYU-Idaho, particulary my essay, which i need help on. And today i have been working on government homework all day getting ready for some Mock Congress thing....ohh boy. Welp have a great week! (There'll be better blogs later this week..i'm tired)

Thursday

Today i had a great fun day. It all started afterschool...Teasin (well not really). At school in Dance Production, we are practicing an nisane dance that we are doing in front of the school tomorrow as part of a groundbreaking ceremony for the rebuilding of the Little Theatre. It should be fun and i hope i dont mess up. At 5ish i had a church basketball game against a small team so we won. I onyl had 14 points but had fun. After that i had a member of the stake presidency interview me for my application to BYU-Idaho which is almost sent in. Then i played with Bryce Leiniger and the CV3 team because they forfeited. It was cool to play with them and finished with an okay 18 points. Now i'm going to relax in front of the tv. This picture is me after the game...

Thanks Denae for helping me! I've just started this whole blog business and dont't really know what to write but i promise these will get better as tiem goes on. Just to get caught up on Dustin's life, i just finished cross country and am not playing varsity basketball this year and istead playing church basketball. I finished and passed off my Eagle project last month and that's my life right now.
